Description
Just listened to Verbeek's interview at Ducks Migration and here are some bullet points of things he mentioned:

Wants to acquire a right handed top six winger, that feels awesome to hear, I just hope we dont hand out too much term to any potential FA signing
Said Luneau will probably be apart of next year's lineup
Willing to trade our picks this year to acquire roster players or move up in the draft
Sounded high on Ian Moore if he is willing to sign, I would assume he plays in the AHL if he does sign
Same with Sam Colangelo, could see him on the fourth line if Leason not qualified. AHL if he is
Wants more speed and scoring in the bottom 6, so that makes me think a lot of our RFAs are gone (This might be the end for Jones, has the speed but not necessarily the scoring). Signed him anyways in this scenario as if not him, we likely sign a similarly rated 4th liner
Said Gaucher is probably a few years away still, but likes his style of play
Didnt sound like anyone from San Diego is likely to make the jump next year

With Luneau "likely being apart of next year's lineup", it makes me think we are not in on the RHD free agency market unless we trade out Lacombe or someone else on the backend (which would honestly be pretty disappointing)

Right handed winger options (either by trade or by FA):

Reinhart
Marchessault
Batherson
Necas
Toffoli
Marchenko
Jarvis
Jarnkrok
Mercer

I will readily admit that I am not aware of trade likelihood for anyone mentioned but they all seemed possible at least

I feel like Pat has something major cooking behind the scenes and we will all be caught off guard with a super random trade like the Drysdale trade, but this offseason should be very telling about the Ducks future. I cant form an optimal defensive lineup without a major trade, so something has to give

Link here if you want to listen (recommend playing on 1.25x speed cause its long): https://youtu.be/Doqq-t1Wn64

EDIT: Starting to really think that almost none of our RFAs will be getting qualified, and I forgot about Meyers who we just gave a pick for, so have to assume that he will get resigned, so fourth line looks a little different (signed a Verbeek type 4th line center) but outside of that, its all the same

Konecy/Forester from Philly, Wahlstrom from NYI, Batherson from OTT, Boeser from VAN, Dellandrea from DAL.

Some reclamation projects in there to be sure.

I don't see us trading Brock Boeser we need top six wingers and a top 4 RHD next as the majority of our defence is not signed next year, so idk who you guys can offer that would make any sense.

I feel like unless we can convince Stamkos on a three year deal, the trade route is what will be needed. I'm starting to be against signing Reinhart as his contract could be brutal for us in the second half once our core has hit their prime

With EP40 and Hroneks raises and needing to resign a ton of UFAs, I'm seeing a bit of a cap crunch headed Vans way, could be that the decision to let Boeser go is the way forward and hope Podz is ready to fill the void.
