    A 20 man roster isn't practical.

    Why would Jersey take Korpisalo at 2.5m.? Wouldn't Nedljkovic and the Devils be much better off, if Ned signed for 2.5m for the Devils than the 2m you offered him.
    Over 36m invested in those 6 Dmen? Yikes.

    Other pieces? Chabot is a top 4 dman. In any Karl trade, particularly one with no salary retention, there has to be some shared risks. Pens are taking on a risk and so are the Sens taking on $10 mil in Karlsson’s salary for 3 years.

    I think it would be a mutually beneficial deal. Both teams taking on some risk, but there are also potential upsides that would help them reshape core players.

    Any team for Korpi. Just threw in NJ as an example. If he was $2.5 mil I’d love to have him in Ottawa.

    And yes, I’d spend $36 mil on defence. And that d is very solid. Graves-DeMelo 3rd pairing would be amongst the best third pairs in the NHL.

    PIT should be rebuilding now. Chabot is a nice trade piece though. He should be sent out.

    I would love to see the Pens take one more run with Sid, Gino and Letang. Hopefully our respective teams can make some changes in the off-season and return to the playoffs next year. Cheers.

    If they don't have a 1st next season, I want PIT to improve greatly. But no guarantee they keep their 1st rounder from this season.
