Description

Fun build trying to visualize what future extensions might look like. Nikishin ELC is gonna be a cheat code for us. Left cap space for Nikishin, Marrow, FUS, and Kochetkov extensions. I would be a little surprised if we extended andersen given his age, injury history, and considering kooch should be #1 by then so I gave martin a little reward bc hes been good for us. I doubt we extend martinook and/or fast beyond 2025 so I just have placeholder wingers on the bottom line. Overall, plenty of cap space left to make significant moves in the market and sign extensions for the summer of 2027.

I thought Nikishin's KHL contract doesn't end until 2025?

Youre probably right. If im being honest I think its either gonna be necas or guentzel in the summer not both and while guentzel has been a great addition it makes more sense to go with the guy who is 7 years younger I think.
