Not sure what Allvin and Rutherford think of TVR, but I could see a deal like this happen if they miss out on a guy like Tanev.

Swap TvR for Jensen...I agree one of them gets dealt over the offseason, but even though he costs more, Jensen is a more Top 4 d-man and I think he's got interest.
I think the Caps keep Dowd, he's just too valuable and a team guy on a very low cost deal. They can move him as a rental to a contender next TDL.
Also you may wish to add $1M/yr to McMichael. He's probably gonna get more than Protas as the target 3C going forward. He won't replace Kuzy's flash, but he will be much more like an Eller as a consistent 2-way guy and has scoring 20-goals in him.

Given the depth in Hershey too I doubt the Caps want NaK back or would mess w/ Di Giuseppe.

Some good points here, I will take it one step further.

The Capitals will most likely bring Iorio up next season and it would be shocking if Ryan Leonard did not sign and make the team right away. Additionally, I think Chesley is ready for a shot as well but most likely plays a season in Hersey before making the big club.

I would restructure your lines to look something more like this:

Jensen and Kuemps get dealt with the caps eating some of Darcy's contract. Dowd gets dealt at the draft to a contender for a 3d and a young promising player. Caps should go into a bit of a youth movement with the potential open roster spots

Ovi-McMichael-Wilson (McMichael makes the top line next season if he can continue to show that level of play after how well he played with that line last night)
Miro-Strome-Leonard
Milano-Lapierre-Protas
Funk-Frank-Oshie (Oshie is a heart and soul Capital but with his age and injuries he might be best suited for a depth role in the bottom 6)

Marty-Carlson
Sandin-Iorio
Alexeyev-TVR

Lindgren
Stevenson

Extras: Bear, Dube, Snively

Signings internally - Chesley, Leonard, Cristall, Gucciardi, Johnson
Resignings: Gibson, Frank, Snively, Sutter, Limoges

New faces in Hersey: Mitchell Gibson, Persson, Suzdalev (again), Brent Johnson, Gucciardi.
