Jonathan Drouin is having a great come back season this year. most likely has priced himself out of colorado budget. most likely gets 3 - 5 million a year on his next contract.
Sean Walker is playing great so far in colorado and he is probably looking for a top 4 defensive role next season. that will cost 4 - 6 million a year. that is outside of colorado budget unless they trade one Mason or Girard.
sign Casey Mittelstadt to a short 2 or 3 year deal to see if he works well in colorado. if they want to keep him after they can offer him a long term contract 8 - 9 million for 6 - 8 years.
this well give Calum Ritchie a year or two in juniors or college
Yakov Trenin is probably looking for 2 plus million a year for his next contract
