Arizona is on Goodrow’s list for sure. I would be shocked if they weren’t. You very well may be stuck with that contract.

There’s plenty of cap space there to keep him. You could even waive him to the minors to recoup space. Wait till next summer and buyout. While also keeping him as a back up for playoffs similar to TB and Tyler Johnson

Yes, unfortunately I think a buyout may be the only option. I could be wrong, but with his 15 team no trade list, that makes it pretty limited. That’s nearly half of the teams! He for sure would have all the bottom feeders on it, one would think.

Buy-out is the No brainer move. The cap hit barely even hurts

Is that so? That’s good then! I wasn’t sure.. haven’t done the cap gymnastics of his buyout. If I was you, I personally would like to hold onto him as much as possible, just so the buyout isn’t too too long, but if they need the money, they need the money.
