Marner Tkachuk is it possible
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caufield</b></div><div>Bread and Kreider have a 50 pt difference
Cole and Anderson 45
Rantanen and Nich 60 (plus Ranty is a monster himself anyways)
Barzal and Lee 40-45
Prime time Tkachuk is a 90 pt guy, prime Marner is a 95-100 pt guy, so 5 to 10 pt difference. Very very different from the guys listed above
Another example is I’d take Slaf over Caufield this year, even with the 15 pt difference</div></div>
Did you actually make up a stat for BT 😂 74 points in real life and 90 in you mind. Prime marner will be 125 if we are playing that game

Anderson>caufield
Nichushkin >rantanen
Lee>barzal

I would hope NYR says no. But that package isn’t out of the question. DET probably says no also. Mo is great and Raymond has more value today than the other 2 RW.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Rags21</b></div><div>Ehhh i don’t know, I could see Wilson or McIlrath taking run at guys</div></div>
I do think they will continue to hit but I don’t think they will be looking for a potentially suspendible offence. Mcilrath won’t want the fights that would follow. Wilson knows the suspension will be long and not worth it. But I get it, I don’t want to see him end up with another concussion ever let alone this year.

Ya I don’t think he will see every game but I see him in most and primarily early in the series to help wear down a team physically and distract them. I’m guessing if NYR is up 3-0 in the WSH series we may see a Chytil appearance to get his legs, lungs and brain going. They will then rest either Rempe/vesey/rosy.

You’re partially right, however Mitch doesn’t need to be the dog if you surround him with dogs. Leafs have too many guys that aren’t dogs. If there’s an extension basically ready to be signed then Utah does it(but not if it’s one season)

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MediocrityAccetableInToronto</b></div><div>I signed Marner, thanks. Look up.</div></div>
Marner doesn’t sign that just to be traded. Also if you’re rebutting that the deal is too good to be true for LA based on Marner numbers then the leafs would never do it. Meanwhile LA love what they have in Q. They can sign Marner in UFA when leafs don’t pay him 12.5/. Shesty also passes, going to need a higher salary to peel him from NYR.

My next to bench for Chytil is Roslovic. I wouldn't touch any of the other lines, but the Zibanejad line only had 1 play the whole game. Not good enough deeper in</div></div>
I think Chytil and wheeler will both be concentrating on endurance and practicing till they are needed. I mean, WSH is probably a good team to throw either out against just to get their legs and game face going so who knows. Just would hate to see them rush anything

Well 8:33 TOI for Rempe. On the ice for 2 goals and 1 was his. He’s currently living rent free in WSH heads. I don’t foresee Laci benching him often.

Perri pick calculator put 3 years of 3.6m hit at an 18 OA pick value, and I figure NYR 25 1st will be lower than that. The buyout will be more beneficial to NYR. If the dump is cheaper then that could be done

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mokumboi</b></div><div>Absolute flop? Dude. He's an all situations ace who is well ahead of every Ranger skater in 5v5 p/60 the last three seasons except Bread. Calling him a depth guy or pretending like he wouldn't instantly get top competition minutes in New York is just kooky. Your larger point is fine, there's no need for this added silliness. The Rangers underutilized him when they had him, at least until his final season there. That's abundantly clear.</div></div>
I’m not saying he’s a flop 😂. People judge based on points and dropping in points by 25-30% will be noticed and judged. I’m also not saying he isn’t getting top 6 mins, I’m saying he can’t make the PP1. I think you’ve misunderstood what I wrote

But yeah, I can't imagine the Rangers would want to wntertain this.</div></div>
My point is 28% of his production is as a result of PP time he won’t get in NYR. So he will look like an absolute flop if acquired. Not the right trade partners here. As you said above, probably not the right package for STL either. Fans like Buch but can’t see past the shiny object. The depth guys like what we acquired at the TDL for next to nothing is what is needed

On NYR Buch is a 45-50 point guy. He isn’t seeing PP1 time(where he collects 1/3 of his points like every other PP1 guy in the league). Paying two 1sts for a year of that seems rather excessive.

Playoffs with Chytil
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mvp13</b></div><div>I previously would agree with Rempe, but he doesn't play him over 6 minutes during the regular season. With Chytil possibly returning, I can't imagine anyone would sit for Rempe. Only if the series gets crazy and he needs to smack someone.
Hard to argue with Lavi's approach, but I'm not sure why he doesn't play Rempe more. I haven't seen any glaring defense lasps. It is what it is, but Cuylle, Goodrow, and Vesey will all dress before Rempe on that 4th line</div></div>
Honestly think he’s been trying to keep rempe from having altercations or a possible suspension before playoffs. When playoffs are supposed to be at its roughest I think we will see more of him. It’s just a gut feeling is all. I don’t think Chytil will sit for anyone to be clear, anyone but himself. If NYR is up big in a series I see him taking rests to remain healthy while allowing others to take on the physical work load. We can only speculate with Chytil and his health but the fact that he’s back and skating at practice should be telling that he will skate in playoffs. If it was just for the sake of skating he would be doing it back home
