Even Mittelstadt noticed how hard and fast teams like Colorado go, not just in games but in practices too. It's telling when a young player's insight overshadows the coach's. Perhaps Granato would be better off returning to development roles. It’s been too long since any player was benched for underperforming. And the assistant coaches? They have to fix that failing power play. It’s frustrating to watch the team hammer away with shot after shot, yet barely score. We have the player talent; now it's time for the coaches to meet that level.
