In this off-season NHL comic book, the Great Sidney Crosby intercepts a distress beacon from Captain McDavid of Edmonton. He answers the call. Since I made the deal for the off-season, capfriendly has since cut off putting 2024 draft picks into the trade... so please treat the 2025 1st and 2026 2nd as potential 2024 1st and 2025 2nd, as I meant it to be a 2024 draft deal (or before).

Sorry, messed up the format, more to come lol. And honestly, looking further at it now, maybe Seattle loses a little here..

Edm 2024-25 : some options like Raphael Lavoie and Bourgault up front could make the team. Crosby re-signs for two seasons beyond his current deal, at $8.7m per season, to keep things consistent. Keeps McDavid in Edmonton and attracts other free agents for the last hurrah McDavid in Edmonton chance. It's time to get rid of the tired old McDavid to Draisaitl at the hash marks one-timer move once and for all. Yes, it works sometimes, but for Howe's sake, how predictable can you get with Leon? He's got to separate himself from McDavid and become his own beast again, like he was during the McDavid injury times. Honestly, sometimes he just looks bored waiting around for that trademark pass.
