No big trades

Description
I guess isnt good for business to buy high and sell low.

If Chychrun trade was rated as a good one, the sens shoundt sell for a fewer value. The same with other players, if they dont have a high market value, it isnt a good move to sell them.

The thing we should do is improve other areas that will benefict the current players, for exemple:
-RD's that complement both Chabot and Chychrun
-A Coach that improves the defensive system providing help to our goalies
-Bottom 6 players who can play PK and bring some grit to the team

Your RFA, UFA singings and trades are very optimistic.

Players aren't leaving money and term on the table to sign in Ottawa.

I would be very surprised if DeMelo was offered more than $4.5 million on a long-term deal by anyone.

He's a steady top 4 RD, a position many teams want to fill, and the cap is going up. I can see him taking a discount to resign in Winnipeg, but if he hits UFA, teams will overpay, they always do.

Edit: If you can imagine any competitive team offering a player that contract, they aren't signing for the same in Ottawa. Team is chaotic. Taxes are terrible. We aren't a desirable destination.

Well, I think the going rate for him will be around $4 million so if the Sens offer $4.5 it would be more than anyone else is offering.

He also might want to play with Chabot again.
