  2. 2024 3rd round pick (BUF)
2.
STL
  1. Järnkrok, Calle
  2. 2024 1st round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Price is a little high but given the fact the leafs have no picks it makes it difficult to do this. I didnt want to take one of mitten, knies or neimela obviously, so tell me if a Jarnkrok for Saad trade is viable
TOR
  1. Saad, Brandon
Additional Details:
guaranteed 25 goals, good defense, can play with anyone

Id like to keep him but with all the prospects we have coming up Blues should sell high on his good year this year

I mean Dahlin, Power, Byram, Samuelson, Johnsen. Ik they can play off hand and do well, but i defiantly think one gets traded for an RHD, it seems Gms worry to much about it at points

Toronto doesn't do this. Jarnkrok is a very serviceable 3rd line winger, who can contribute on the first line when injuries occur. They don't have a need for Saad that would explain getting rid of their 1st round pick.
This is not even talking about the fact that Saad has twice the cap hit...

Faulk, most likely, isn't it. They'd want someone younger who can grow with their core/team.

Thats fair, i do think Buf and Stl are good trade partners but i feel one team would have to budge

Thats fair, though yea hes twice the cap but also twice the player. But given the Leafs have no picks can you see a trade happening?

Idk man Jarnkrok is our 2nd best PKer F behind Marner, if Brad does a deal with STL I’d rather sell the farm for Parayko. Also how about toropchenko? I’d move minten in a deal for both.

Jarnkrok is bank for 20 goals (this year, he's not been healthy enough), good enough PKer and can literally play anywhere...

I'd much rather go after Pesce though

I haven't watched much Saad this year to be fair. I am very high on Jarnkrok for what he brings to the team, a reall swiss army knife, sign at a cheap price for the next two years. I don't think at deal involving Saad full salary would make sense for the Leafs

Leafs would never do that Jarnkrok is better then Saad and Saad is making double what he makes and we have to give a first aswell the leafs would laugh in their face

Tor doesn’t have the assets for Parakyo

But Torps is very unlikely to get moved soon, however if y’all offer up mitten then army would definitely have to think on that

Not sure what your definition of "bank" is but you do realize that Jarnkrok has hit 20 goals once (1 time) in his career. Even factoring in injuries this year, he is not on pace to get 20 goals this year. He rarely plays the top 2 lines, and Toronto is not a good penalty killing team, so not sure just how valuable he is in that role. He turns 33 before next season starts. Not arguing whether the trade is fair or not, but not sure Jarnkrok is valued as highly as you think he is. If you are "banking" on another 20 goal season from him, you just might find yourself "bankrupt".

Before his injuries, he was on pace to hit 20 goals again... (he still had a lingering injury but got rushed back bc Leaf forwards were dropping like flies)...

And he was also on pace to hit 20 in 3 other seasons (and another one if he didn't go to Calgary in 21-22)...

Although, Jarnkrok won't make the difference between playoffs vs non playoffs, so I can't go bankrupt as you suggest or like when Habs fans realized Josh Anderson is a cap dump

Blues would need to add to the Buffalo trade pretty significantly too.

You do realize how ridiculous your argument sounds when you say he was on pace to score 20 goals in five 5 different seasons, but didn't accomplish it in any of them, and use that as your logic to state that he will get 20 goals a season going forward now that he is approaching his mid 30's. I am guessing you do, and that is why you tried to deflect the point by bringing up a totally unrelated topic (Josh Anderson who is 100% a cap dump with his current play).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 5 20 paced goal seasons would imply being a 20 goal scorer, especially when the most recent season was last year....

I used that deflection to show an example about you and other Habs fans being so blatantly wrong recently (just as recent as Jarny's last 20 goal season

Daily Faceoff is wrong, hes not been playing first line.

I will say maybe he was moved up in the last 2-3 games since hes been on fire but other than that hes been playing 3rd line all year
