He should have been fired already....for doing nothing

Bennett is the exact player we need and it won't be top 10

Trading a top 10 pick is probably one of the dumbest things to do. No Smart GM would so something like that. Why the only recent GMs to do it were Dorion & Benning.

You can go after guys like Bennett in FA or trade much less than a top 10 pick. Doing something like that just prolongs the drought.

It's not going to be a top 10 pick.

Bennett is perfect for us and we are loaded with prospects.

What do you mean it's not gonna be a top 10 pick? We're at the 9th pick right now.

Ok so trade one of those prospects. A top 10 pick is our best bet at getting a really good young d man. Using it on a 28 year old middle 6 C who is a UFA next season is so braindead.

It would be 11th now.

Our top 4 defense, 3 or whom are signed for 6+ years are all under 25 years old. That's not counting ryan johnson or jokiharju.

Maybe get a clue.
