Trouba just came back from injury...Miller had just as bad of a game if not worse and has been consistently worse all year. Scratch him.

Lmao let me guess you think Trouba is good? Miller was finally back to his old self when Trouba was out hurt

Trouba is easily the worst defenseman on the team in all aspects except hits and blocks

They both played horribly last night. I'm just willing to give Trouba the benefit of the doubt because he is just returning from injury. I love the guy as captain but the dude has zero awareness with the puck, I'm not trying to defend him, I just think if anyone deserves to be scratched it's Miller. Consistently a defensive liability and aside from the maybe one athletic play you're getting a game he does nothing. I also want to see Jones with Trouba. I will be absolutely flabbergasted if Trouba and Miller are still together next game.

Trouba has been bad all year, quite frankly he hasn’t been all that good his whole career in NY lol quit using the injury excuse, he should be a bottom pair defenseman

Jones Trouba should be the bottom pair. KAM Schneider took on the “shutdown” pair against top teams while Trouba was out. There is 0 reason Trouba should be playing more 5v5 minutes than Lindgren, fox, KAM, Schneider and Jones

At 5v5, shots against with Trouna off the ice go down 5-15%
At 5v5, goals total -11 with him on the ice vs +16 off the ice

I don’t know about you, but I’d rather the other team not shoot and score more…..

Doesn’t mean he should be afraid to show some accountability. Look at Cooper who already has more cups than him lol

All these coaches all buddy buddy and afraid to bench some vets

Well its good for the Rangers you know better and would be a better coach. Like I said, call Dolan and apply for the job.

The Rangers should just make Miller a RW at this point. Then you have a great two-way forward that fills a positional gap. Instead of a defenseman, a position which we have a lot of depth, and leaves a lot to be desired with actual defense.

Sorry for wanting this team to win a cup and not sit back and watch Lavi roll out the same lines and pairs that let up a lot against Flyers, Yotes, Penguins, etc….

Cuylle has a bad turnover and looking like he’s gonna be scratched, that’s fine. Trouba has a god awful game but sure he doesn’t lose his spot

I mean KAM is arguably their best LD over Lindgren, Jones and Gus lol

Idk. I think Lindgren is having a rough year but generally is better than him. Jones has looked AMAZING this year. Gustafsson sucks and shouldn't be re-signed

When they’re all on their game, KAM is easily the best and can shut down any forward when needed

Lindgren is good but you want Fox to pick apart weaker lines and Jones was sheltered and great offensively but gets out-muscled on defense

Oh, I didn't know Lavi doesn't want them to win the cup. That makes everything different.

If he continues to use Trouba as a shutdown defenseman night in and out, then yea he clearly doesn’t care that much lol

But no let’s not hurt our $8m captain’s feelings and keep throwing him out there in big minutes so crosby can absolutely embarrass him lol

It's a good thing you know more than Lavi and hall of famer Phil Housley regarding the play of the defenseman. The Rangers are lucky to have you as a fan.

Ah yes Trouba is so good he was on the ice for all 3 goals against vs the Pens and probably could of won if he wasn’t playing

Classic ranger fan defending Trouba because he throws big hits and is the captain

Not defending Trouba at all, just pointing out how a nobody on a hockey chat site knows more about the Rangers than their future hall of fame head coach and hall of fame defensive coach. Maybe you can tell Benny how to improve Igor and Quickies games too?

Goalies haven’t been a problem all year or previous seasons lol

The problems are very clear but people ignore them because NYR have a lot of wins. Only 1 line is great at 5v5 and their worst defenseman logs the most 5v5 minutes

Granted their recipe for success always has been average 5v5 with elite special teams and goaltending. I worry the special teams and goaltending can’t win 16 games

The Rangers have been in 1st place the entire season yet almost every post you make about the team is complaining about something, a player, a coach, a bad game. Would you complain about paying income taxes if you won Lotto?

Like I said lol winning doesn’t change the fact that they have flaws…..

If they get knocked out in the 1st round, you’ll be surprised and I won’t be

There has never been an undefeated NHL team so ALL teams have flaws. If they went 82-0 and then 16-0 in the playoffs, I bet you would still find something to complain about.

Sorry for wanting the Rangers to be better and improve so they can actually win the cup

I guess your sorry ass excuse of a Rangers fan is comfortable with not winning one 😂
