If you take away all the clutter from the Norris trade…

Norris for Veleno, Berggren and a 1st.

Ottawa would definitely have to consider that. Even with both current wings needing new contracts and the 1st likely being late I think I’d say yes.

OTT declines, OTT not trading Norris for pennies on the dollar and is he was fully healthy DET would need to overpay.
