It will cost more then a 3rd to dump 8 million even if it is only 1 year. Regardless I put good money down some GM will actually pay assets to acquire Trouba and his 8 million dollar cap hit for muh grit and muh leadership

I am saying in the sense of dumping a 8 million cap hit. It will cost more than a 3rd that's for certain. But that's besides the point, some old school boys club GM is drolling over acquiring Trouba and while I won't be suprised if they pay for him, it will cost more than a 3rd to dump 8 million is what I am getting at

Is there some GM in the leauge dumb enough to trade for him? Yes

I don't know what is so hard to understand, but if you are proposing any trade to Chicago/Arizona it means Trouba is a cap dump. OP is proposing a trade to Arizona meaning OP views Trouba as a cap dump, in which case it will cost more than a 3rd to dump him. Now what someone is accutally worth vs what a GM will pay for a player are two vastly different things. OEL is the best example, we all knew he wasn't worth the return yet Jim Benning existed
