The real question is, is the rest of the division that bad.... and the answer is yes... yes they are.
This use to be the best division in all of hockey, but it's got old, and the prospect pools suffered for being so good and drafting high. So now it's the worse division in all of hockey.
The whole eastern conference is weak. Use to be stacked. Now you got like 2-3 teams worth anything and everyone else is seriously flawed.

But to be honest, for todays game, what exactly did TB have to play for? Nothing.
They are in. No matter how they finish their path is the same. They either go on the road to BOS or they go on the road to FL. No matter what happens in the rest of their games that's going to be their path. It's just a question of "Do they play BOS 1st or FL 1st" Because we all know the leafs are out in round 1.
So if you got a team with nothing to play for, what do they really care. They are kicking back till playoffs start at this point.
