No... why are the Ducks trading the centerpiece of their team? Why would Getzlaf waive his NMC to go to Montreal, when the Ducks are so close.

Getzlaf is a awesome player, but at 32 years old with a 4 other year contract at 8.25 millions is not so atractive.

Patch is 30 goal scorer each year at 28 years old for 2 other years at 4.5 millions.
And you want a 1st round prospect + 2 X second round pick?

My opinion = trade rejected.

If not Getzlaf... how 'bout Bieksa? His experience and veteran leadership can help those young Habs take it to the next level.

Bieksa is a right Dman, MTL already have Weber and Petry on that side.
For Dman, MTL need to replace Markov if he don't sign with Habs.
I don't think Bieksa could replace Markov.
Weber have 31 years old, Petry = 29, Alzner = 28, Benn = 29 and Schlemko = 30.So, I'm not sure MTL need this vet leadership at defensive line.
I think Habs have not many options, they need to sign Markov.

Why are people even talking about this, Bieksa is really bad. And Montreal is not young, Anaheim is just old. I think it is a good trade, though.
