Anybody is good at 1M, let's be real. This contract was more in the Orlov vein. Duchene would maybe get 5M/year on a 4 year contract.

Duchene got bought put after putting up 56 points which is weird and Nashville got better. Don’t really want that guy on the team.

He is the TDA of the offense. Weird vibes follow him. He gets bought out and tones it down. Then gets bigger money and flops again is the next step for duchene

Dallas also got much better with him on board. It might've just been a John Hynes issue in Nashville. Duchene also wouldn't be part of the leadership structure here.
