Realistic 24-25 Leafs team

Description
Unfortunately, Marner is VERY unlikely to be traded. Do I think he should be? Yes. I think it should have happened after the Montreal series. He now has a full no-move clause and total control over his situation. Who knows, maybe he'll get sick of the media attention and waive for a smaller market team. I just don't realistically see it happening. I hope they don't extend him. Though, they likely will.

Tavares absoluely isn't going anywhere.

I think it's very likely that one of Domi or Bertuzzi will walk in free agency due to cap restrictions. I'm leaning towards Domi re-signing.

I do, however think that Sheldon Keefe, Brendan Shanahan and a majority of the coaching staff are gone if they lose to Boston. This is long overdue.

I also REALLY hope this isn't the goalie tandem next season but I kinda think it will be.

I'd be very surprised and disappointed if Liljegren is brought back. The guy gets bullied constantly. Wayyy too soft for the playoffs and doesn't have the offensive skills to make up for it.

Doesn't necessarily have to be Washington. I just think it makes sence for them.

I agree with your commentary 100% but after that
-Deal Robertson and let him get a fresh start, he may want more too
-No way Liljegren gets that
-I don’t get involving a 1st to dump Kampf,,,just use him correctly…also Timmins has no value and can be waived or buried…same with Kampf really
-You got Benoit and McCabe so Zadorov is expensive and as superfluous as a 3rd nipple
-More for Domi
-No to Wennberg

Make room, trade Marner…he will want out by now and most likely has since the Nylander pay day

Truly awful analysis, but leafs nation (I’m convinced it’s just a numbers thing) contains a lot of irrational fans that over react day to day. Can’t be good for your health or your mental acuity, based on this fantasy
