This is like an F-. Bjork isn't going to be carried on the roster as the 14th forward. He'd be in providence so he shouldn't be listed. Are you not aware of how this system works? You put the 23 man NHL roster into the team. This is embarrassing to read.
McQuaid and Krug over Chara and Carlo? Who's your dealer? Can he supply me as well? I'd enjoy being as euphorious as you.
We've been over this about 10 times. If Pasta was willing to sign for 6 or 6.25 the deal would have been done weeks ago, you seriously think in your brain that Sweeney is short changing him this whole time and offering like 5.5M? Sweeney must be offering 6M+ and he's gotta be rejected by Pasta who's going to get paid just under Draisaitl who could get up to 8.5M. Anyone who's saying 6M is delusional. This deal woulda got done a month ago if that's all Pasta was asking for. What do you think is holding up the negotiations? Sweeney's just being a dick and offering 5.75M and Pasta's like "no I want 6.5M" and then they settle on 6.25M in your fantasy land. **** woulda been done by now bro. Pasta wants big money and deserves it long term, he's getting 7M+. If he doesn't I will honestly apologize to you, but I'm fully confident he won't get less. This would have been done by now if the difference was just 1M. Sweeney probably offered 5.75M x 6 and Pasta was like " I want 8M x6" where they meet in the middle is around 7M, but if Draistail signs for 8.5M Pasta's salary increases.
And that's why you are an NHL GM!!!!! Because you know everything!!!!
True Bjork would be better served in Providence which is likely where he will start. If/when injuries hit though, depending on who it is, Bjork may get the call. All depends on how his camp goes.
Look, for 5X5 play it doesn't matter where the D lineup. Where the players get more minutes is on special teams. If there were no penalties in a game, the minutes would be very similar between all 6. Krug has more offensive upside right now than either Carlo or Chara. Think!!!!
I've said as much as $6.5M for Pasta. 1 year of production does not mean he should get that kind of money. He would struggle with Krejci or Bergy, depending on where he plays. He'll get his payday eventually, he will have another 8 years at probably $15M per year, 8 years from now!!!! Also, the problem with Edmonton is that they will struggle to win a cup because they are loading up on just a couple players and everyone else is average at best. If you can convince Pasta to take less to have the chance to win a cup while Bergy, Marchy and Krejci are still with the team, that's your best bet. Sweeney to Pasta, "do you wanna win a cup kid"???
Take a pill.....
