Sens fourth best Dman isn't worth nearly that. Leafs can find a just a good UFA without giving up anything. Tavares isn't waiving for non playoff Flames.

Not even with Alberta lower taxes. Calgary is a boring place though so maybe Tavares wouldn't mind. Most boring interview in the most cookie cutter suburbs that all look the same and zero nightlife.

Chychrun is a top pairing D on most teams in the NHL. You clearly don’t know who he is.

Not many goalies on the market. And not easy to get rid of Taveres contract. Flames need a #1 centre. Treliving needs to threaten to sit Taveres if he won’t waive. Sit him or play him on 4th line.
