Your going to trade the BEST goal scorer in all of NHL history for a late first in 2024 and 2025 and your going to retain half

Rangers have no interest and quite frankly can't accommodate the move financially or positionally.

Convince Marner to waive to play with Ovi and feed him and Ovi and Wilson can offer Marner the protection he needs to perform!
We don't need much in return we just want him gone lol!

Since NYR isn't interested perhaps your team is? 🤔

he was pretty terrible last night defensively. (was at that game). but he also doesn't have anyone getting him the puck so how do you expect offense from this guy?. backstrom injury and kuznetzov on coke has been the downfall of ovechkin

Still no one going to trade for a guy who’s gonna just stand there and only care about the goals record and nothing else

Put me on the ice and I’ll do the same thing for much cheaper

to be fair. if you got a guy who can make 50 percent of his shots go in I wouldn't care if he did that

While playing no defense and watching teams score shorthanded on you cause you don’t skate or put in effort?

Ovi isn’t the threat he used to be and I doubt any teams want him

Ovi may break Gretzky's record for most goals in a career, but the BEST goal scorer in NHL history is Mike Bossy, and this is coming from a Ranger fan.

Bossy AVERAGED 57 goals a season to 45 for Ovi. Bossy averaged .76 goals per game he played vs 0.60 for Ovi. Ovi had 65 in 07-08 and Bossy had 69 in 78-79, 68 in 80-81, and 64 in 81-82. The answer is Mike Bossy and I am a Ranger fan that hates the Fishsticks.

goalies back then were essentially useless. they were like a defenseman trying to block an empty net

Why would the Rangers trade for Ovi when he's already their best PKer right now?
