D is addition by subtraction of Petry/Holl plus adding Roy and Johanson. Plenty of opportunity to either suck real bad or prove to be a good risk depending on how the young guys do. In goal this is predicated on Husso being 100% and able to play 40-50 at a high level w/ Lyon as a strong 1b/backup. If Husso isn't 100% they need to make a deal. Secondary scoring and lineup is more balanced w/ Stamkos and several C/W players in the lineup give a lot of flexibility. Kaspar and Mazur make the team, same comment as above, maybe they suck, maybe they're awesome, who knows?

Petry is shot out of a cannon, Fabbri is traded to SJS or any lousy team that need depth scoring/mentoring/a good team guy for a year and Holl is sent to Utah with draft compensation since he was awful here, but they need more NHL D for the next couple of years.

I'm taking Yzerman's lead that Berg and Johansen make the team since waivers aren't an option. Hoping they have good camps.

In all, with better G and D plus major development from the kids this is definitely a playoff team, hoping to get the #3 spot in the division.
