Marner isn't worth all of that. I mean he is worth something like that value wise, but as a team that needs someone who can clutch up in the playoffs. He's not someone the Preds should consider for that price.

Also Molendyk is about as untouchable as a prospect could be for Nashville. They almost signed him to an entry level deal last year, and Trotz and Brunette seem very high on him.

I don’t see Trotz trading any 1st rounders he took from his first draft as GM (a little murky since was technically still there, but still)— so I don’t see them moving Wood or Molendyk anytime soon.
