The most Toronto Maple Leafs thing that could happen would be that Marner has a career year like Nylander did this year. No one is talking about it because the whole fan base is rattled from the loss. I am leaning towards Marner extension next year whether that's mid-year or after next playoffs.

Four years of getting bounced.........why not. Trust me, Dallas, Tampa, Rangers, Edmonton, (insert legit contender here) come calling Marner will waive.
