still no centerman and no elite offensive Dman, we cant trade both, you need good grinder in a team, and jerabek will see but im not sure about him

Trading gallagher and those picks for one year of neal is stupid. Trading shaw (who is superior to duclair) and pick for duclaor is stupid. Then signing duclaor for $2 million after the year he just had is stupid. Would rather just play hudon than acquire duclair.

Neal for one year makes us a little closer to a 25th Stanley Cup. Gallagher = another 23 years waiting for the next cup. Shaw on a 3rd or 4th line at 3.9Mil$ is another 23 years waiting. Duclair has the potential of feeling the Mtl pressure and stopping partying like Galchenyuk and getting back on track being a potential top 6. The reason Duclair is not signed yet is that he's not gonna take anything less then 2 years transition contract at 2 or 2.5Mil$.

If duclair was worth that much he would be signed. The reason he isn't signed yet is because isn't worth it and if it's true that's what he wants he's not gonna get it. Maybe $1 mil. If his partying turned him into the crappy player he was last year then that's even more of a red flag. Shaw is overpayed yes, but it's not an issue right now your team has 10 million in cap space! Shaw's contract will get easier and easier to trade because the actual salary decreases every year. He is a good player with trade value in the league and you would waste him and a late pick to get a guy you could probably offer sheet for nothing and give no compensation.

When gallagher was playing first line he was on pace for like 30 goals. He lost his playing time to radulov and dealt with more injuries but finished the year pretty good (like plekanec and lehkonen). I would rather put my faith in gallagher (who is on a friendly contract) then give up on him and waste draft picks on neal.

These moves just don't make sense for montreal.. they are a playoff team jo matter what they are better off waiting with the 8 mil in cap space they have right now to see what becomes available throughout the season. Also young players like hudon de la rose mccarron scherbak etc. Could suprise and help us acquire a top player like neal at the TDL.

I'm trying to make sense of your comment... Have you had maybe too much wine? I have a hard time understanding what you try to say!
