As unlikely as it seems to move that many pieces, this is genuinely a trade that I see Dubas interested in making, he loves his pals.

And I think Treliving would take it tbh, he’s desperate to shed cap and what better than to get rid of 3 expensive guys.

The Rackell, Graves, and Jarry contracts are like 10 times worse than any of the contracts coming from the Leafs.

True but I think Treliving would like to have them.

Especially Rakell & Graves, he loves big physical players.

Jarry, he may not want, but also the goalie market is putrid.

How does this make even a lick of sense. The Pens get the three best players involved in the deal? This is legit lunacy

It is more from Treliving perspective that he would rather get rid of those 3 guys for whatever the return than to spend 55 million on 5 players again.

When in Treliving's career has he ever shown that he's a legit headcase. If he brought that to Keith Pelley, he would be fired on the spot. There is not one single rational argument for the Leafs to ever make this trade. That return would be bad should it be for just Marner.

It's a bunch of mediocre players on deals they don't deserve being traded for a cumulative total of over 200 points last season.

I am begging for an ACGM that has an explanation for a TOR/PIT trade that isn't "Dubas loves his guys." All I need is one.
