Ah I still like Florida.

Lots of hockey to be played yet.

That's true. But if you finish those 2 rounds in 8 games, that's a serious amount of recovery time.

A pretty underwhelming return for Askarov. I think NSH should just re-sign Saros to 6 years and then keep both goalies. Saros can mentor Askarov and they slowly transition to Askarov as the starter. Similar to what they did with Rinne and Saros.

I did one earlier with Edstrom, that is more serious offer but i worry about offering that much for a goalie

"Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills!"

Says Chris Berman.

But each time he said this I'd always envision 100 pioneers in the middle of nowhere being attacked by various native Indian tribes.

I mean the Indians must've had the advantage.

They knew the lay of the land.

The pioneers would eventually starve.

But they likely had the gun advantage.

It's just strange to me how Berman made it seem the pioneers had the advantage?

Because I don't recall the Bills winning any Super Bowls? 🤔

Maybe when they were circling the wagons one went wide right and drove off a cliff? 😬

If we are talking historically the pioneers / colonizers generally had the advantage because of the diseases that had developed in Europe that native populations hadn’t been exposed too. Then the colonizers / pioneers were “exploring” lands where native Americans typically acted like independent nations. So it wasn’t really pioneers vs native Americans it was pioneers vs independent tribe 1 v independent tribe 2. There are only a few circumstances where more than one tribe formed alliances to fight pioneers /expanding militaries
