would love for Kane to come back and play with Bedard , set the Hawks franchise record for most games, assists and points (don't think he'd hit goals) but I doubt his happens.

1) Agree with @hawksfan1988. He can also set the assists and points record for Americans too.
2) Agree with @PaulKorea that 4 years is 1 year too long but it may be what it takes to get Kane back in the fold. They could always buy him out, move him, or LTIR him that 4th year. But Hawks may not be in any cap trouble at that time anyway so it may still work out.
3) You missed a golden opportunity to have an All-1OA line in Hall - Bedard - Kane
