Sharks only do this to flip Marner. How much could they ask a team for a winger that disappears in the playoffs every year? How much would Toronto pay for that type of player?

The Sharks are maxed out on retention slots, but the Leafs should never so this. Couture is iffy on ever even playing again, so the trade is a middling defenseman and a 3rd line forward for Marner. Really bad for the Leafs.
