I'm not gonna pretend like I was happy with Theodore's play in the playoffs, but he's not the guy to ship out for cap space, and definitely not just for picks. I'd rather Howden, Kolesar go and Carrier walk before moving off of Theodore. Howden, with the exception of his physicality isn't very good. Too many dumb penalties and giveaways. Kolesar is a solid 4th liner with a little bit of offensive and a bit more defense, but just the odd man out in my opinion if cap space needs to be moved. Carrier is too injury prone to resign, especially for a raise. I'd love for him to stay, but his injury history makes him more unreliable than someone like Amadio.

fair points. 'm keeping the fourth line and howden based on how well they perform in the playoffs, that fourth line was a rocket at keeping things physical and howden can be clutch. but it does make sense to move on from them in the long scheme of things. hopefully a full summer off will build some cohesion with the team again regardless of who stays/goes. all the players and butch agreed we lost due to everyone not having the same chemistry as last year
