    Lekkerimaki is not NHL ready next season especially in that large of a role in my opinion

    If you send that offer to Hronek, he would just tell his agent to call up the rest of league and send over some offer sheets. Not even a starting point.

    he has been a non factor in the playoffs...

    I get he had a good start to the reg season but he really slowed down towards the end. we shouldnt be paying him based off one third of the season

    I think you just gotta keep Hoglander there. Either that or a UFA but they in my opinion cannot rush Lekkerimaki into the league

    I don't disagree. I'm just saying that I'd be shocked if he didn't get $8M+ especially when salary demands are by most accounts the #1 reason that Detroit traded a top pair RHD in his prime for way below market value.
