What do you think Yakemchuk's upside is in Buffalo. I would be happy with a consistent 35 point, mean penalty killing defenseman since he won't get any PP time most likely

Yakemchuk can provide size and physicality defensively, but it won't translate into the NHL. Yakemchuk is a pure offensive defenseman who will put up 45 points at least.

Buffalo's future top 4 would be:

Power-Dahlin
Byram-Yakemchuk

Why don't you think his size and physicality will translate into the NHL? Maybe not at first but I could see him being a mean player in five years

That is actually what I meant to say. Not right away will be translatable to the NHL but under more coaching that could change.
