Bennett is not an upgrade for the price/production. Noesen is not getting $3MM from the Canes, his cap will be $2MM. Bjorkstrand is a huge downgrade for a mildly lower price than Necas. Also unlikely that we start 2 rookie D-men. Gourde is also a wash offensively and a downgrade defensively to Drury for a higher price. This makes the team worse.

We can’t afford to give a 4th line role player 3 million
Gourde is of little to no interest being a lefty
I don’t see Bennett being moved so I wont argue he is just a hitman
