Seattle doesn't improve offensively as much as one would think in your deal. Not convinced Marner would produce at the same level with Seattle as he did in TOR without a 50 + goal scorer to feed. Losing McCann's goals and the defensive presence of Larsson could almost have an alternate affect on GF and GA differential. Plus, I don't get the sense Francis wants anything to do with the kind of dollars Marner might demand on an extension, which one would think he'd insist upon.

Flames decline. A late 1st + a B prospect isn't getting Markstrom.
