Right idea on wanting to dump holden and his contract. I think thats smart.

But giving up some of our best prospects for a dime a dozen center from vancouver is not the best move.

What do you think of holden + prospect or pick being traded to VAN for Anders Nilson???

who is that "best" prospect in your opinion? none of themhave major upside.

I mean Granlund did have 32 points on a Vancouver team who basically are only the Sedin Twins now. He's 24 so you'll give up some prospects that you don't know if they will turn out good and we would not miss them because we already started stockpiling on younger players that are already NHL ready. Just imagine how many points he can put up on a line with Nash and Miller. Maybe like 50-60? So that already replaces Step and also is 3 years younger which we can probably re sign for relatively cheap(2-3 years at 2.5mil).
