Most of my predictions r based off of team insiders and management have said as well as some of my own opinions. Feel free to look at my previous predictions to see the changes I've made over time.
Sean Shapiro on July 11th: "Expect the Stars to head to training camp with nine defensemen. They will make a move or put someone on waivers during training camp."
“It’s definitely time for Julius,” confirmed Nill on July 12 while on 630 CHED.
Sean Shapiro on July 19th: "After yesterday’s interviews, sounding like Jason Spezza will play on the wing next season. Martin Hanzal doesn’t play wing and will be a top-six center for the Stars."
DefendingBigD on July 31st: "If Mattias Janmark is fully healed, Dallas will likely figure out a 4th line of Curtis McKenzie, Devin Shore, Adam Cracknell, Brian Flynn, Tyler Pitlick, and maybe (?) RJ Umberger - all with NHL experience." In this same article they have Remi Elie and Jason Dickinson as the most NHL ready forwards and Dillon Heatherington and Gavin Bayreuther for Defence.
Jim Nill on Heiskanen (reported on NBCSports ProHockey Talks: "He’s a very good player, He’s a very level-headed kid, he’s already played against men, really it’s just a maturing thing. In the end, his play will dictate where he ends up, but we’re not going to rush him.”
From DefendingBigD's article 'End of an Era for Dallas Stars at Right Wing': "On the right side this season, the Stars will probably have some combination of Radulov, Spezza, Brett Ritchie, Tyler Pitlick, and Adam Cracknell."
