Mtl to the rescue (Wings & VGK)

Description
The Red wings are in rebuild mode... So we take a soon-to-be-burdening contract in exchange of a gritty player , two B prospect and 2 picks.

And more importantly, around 4M$ in cap space...

As for the VGK, we trade two soon to be UFA for Good depth and grit players.


With these trade, the ahbs could be a contender this year.

The Detroit trade is interesting. I have no idea what Holland would want back for him, but it makes sense for both teams. In terms of the other trade, there is just no way. Theodore is Vegas' future. No way they are going to give him up for, lets be real, leftovers. I think Bergevin has made his defensive bed and now has to lie in it. For this upcoming season its not too terrible. And if you add Z then this team might be formidable.

When Holland signed Z, they promised him he would not be moved. You don't know hockey if you actually think the Wings would go back on their word.

Everything has a price... Subban gave 10M$ to a hospital in Mtl and he was shipped the year after... Hockey is a business. Also, they are not shipping Z to a **** team... Mtl is a type of organisation similar to DET.
I imagine they would ask him if he wants to be traded.

True, I would really like to get Marchessault, He's a French-Canadian, he's good and has a lot of potential... i could really see him paired with Drouin and Chucky. The VGK trade would probably be a trade deadline trade
