While I doubt the avalanche deal works I do think edm would maybe agree to this they loose a low cost extra foward while they have defenseman it was not great last year and edm has shown to throw money at older more known defenseman hence staal

Is Staal a 3m Dman, for the next 4 years.? If there is any doubt that he not that good, no way Oilers accept.

Thanks n388845, it looks like his stats were good last year with 39pts in 49 games (in the KHL) so he should be good for the Rangers. With more years of development who knows how good he could become. What ranger would you compare him to?

If u you look at zucc stats in Norway he was more then a point per game however when it was international and vs grown men it was similar to vlad not saying he will be as good but the potential is there they r both underside use their brain and quickness to make the right plays and could potential make it 4 bmvery skilled lines
