With the news of Tavares not feeling any urgency to sign scares NYI owner and orders Snow to make a move.

The Ottawa deal is one that I wonder if it is enough or too much, I think that Bennett can be a Franchise first or second in time but am wearing my heart on my sleeve whereas Stone is the Deal now.

Take out Wotherspoon, not sure of Bartkowski as a prospect to be honest, but a straight swap isn't awful should JT not elect to sign. Though again, I don't think he is leaving

Not sure why Ottawa would trade away Stone for Bennett + spare parts? A trade could be made around Bennett, but the other pieces have to have to some value. Remember Ottawa is in win-now mode as well.

RE: Tavares, bump up the 2018 3rd to a 2019 1st and there is something there.

As a Sens fan I'm not very fond of that Stone trade, Our top 6 is weak as it is and loosing our second best winger for what you are offering is not a move I would make.
