Scratch that you also declined the fact that McDavid, Marner, and Murray are going to make team Canada, Eichel, and Matthews are going to make team USA.

This is cool and all but the iihf isn't doing this team idea anymore. It was a one time thing because the US and Canada complained i believe.

It was strictly hypothetical. The tournament rules only allowed team USA and team Canada to pick players 24 and older. Scheifele and gudreau are 24 so they wouldn't be eligible to be selected to team North America. Guentzel should be added and I'm sure hanafin and skeji would definitely be considered
