If Iggy is brought back - and I very much doubt that he will be brought back as there is to big of a ??? as to his possible effect in the dressing room with Gio's team! But if he is brought back he will not be playing top line minuets with JH & Mony (maybe on the PP but not 5 on 5) I can see him on a line with Bennett and Versteeg or Tkachuk?

Foo will not be kept up to sit in the press box - he will play top 9 or be sent to the AHL for more experience.

The presence of Lazar / Foo / Ferland / Frolik / Brouwer / Versteeg / Poirier - all competing for a RW spot is why we don't need Iggy (or another RW vet)... The rookies need a chance to play and we have the vets needed to back them up - RW was a weakness but not anymore! Now Calgarys weakest position is LW but with the number of left handed centers its not a major weakness.

I am and always will be a HUGE fan of Iginla, but all indications are there is no chance of him returning to the Flames even for one final season. Seems like there is still some bitterness in place from the past.
On the flip side you can never say never that he might be a deadline addition just for a playoff push. He would fit that kind of role well, but over an entire season I sadly don't think it would work.
Oddly though, it would make more sense to give Jagr a shot. He would be a major influence on the young guys (Bennett, Lazar, Foo) but not sure I see that happening either.

And just a side note...I think you're giving Bennett far more than what he'll really get signed for.
