Initial Creation Date: Aug. 27, 2017

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
In order for the canucks to one day content they need a top line LW who they still don't have anyone for that role.

They also need a number 1 LHD and #1 RHD. Juolevi has potential to be a top LHD BUT I see him as a top 3-4 guy.

AT THE END OF THE SEASON CANUCKS DRAFT DAHLIN

And have a future top 6 of

Huberdeau Horvat Boeser

Dahlen pettersson (Rw Prospect 2019 draft or pipeline)

Future top 4 of

Dahlin Tryamkin

Joulevi sergachev

Future goalie

Demko

That's an elite team of the future

Let me remind you all the positions with the most value...

1 top goalies
2 top defenceman
3 top centres
4 top wingers

  1. Huberdeau, Jonathan

Why for Florida?

They are missing gudbranson from their blueline. He was a top pairing guy especially during their playoff run.

Gudbranson was injured before training camp and forced to play so I don't wanna hear any crap about how he stinks cuz he's a valuable good shutdown physical defender.

2Nd will most likely be an early one

Virtanen needs a change of scenery, no matter what he'll make the NHL. But if he wants to be in the top 6 he needs time in the AHL to develop.

Baertschi is a 40-50 point player who can get you 20 goals. He's a top 6 guys
FLA
  1. Baertschi, Sven
  2. Gudbranson, Erik
  3. Virtanen, Jake
  4. 2018 2nd round pick (VAN)
Additional Details:
Why for Vancouver?

Insider for them to one day content the canucks need a great LW. They still don't have that on the team or in their pipeline.
2.
VAN
  1. Callahan, Ryan
  2. Sergachev, Mikhail
  3. 2018 2nd round pick (TBL)
Additional Details:
Why for Tampa?

Gagner came to Vancouver bcuz opportunity to play better minutes than in Columbus. In Columbus he managed 50 points playing bottom 6 minutes which is hella cool. Plus he's cheap as dirt

Tanev is a top 1-3 guy depending on the team. Him being a RHD makes him more valuable. Him and hedman would be absolute magic!
TBL
  1. Gagner, Sam
  2. Tanev, Christopher
Additional Details:
Why for Vancouver?

Getting sergachev would automatically give canucks a future RHD that could be a threat later. But not now.

Callahan: let's just say he waves to help the bolts out.

2Nd round pick helps our rebuilding team.

If I'm not mistaken he plays the right side though.

Nice theory, but I doubt if Tampa wants Gudbranson back. And really you can pump up Virtanen but until he can prove he is AHL good....he hasn't he isn't of any trade value.
Sure Callaghan waives his NMC to go from a top 4 team to a bottom 4 team.

He did in Montreals system, Not sure that would be the case in Tampa though.

Doubt that Ryan Callahan leaves a cup contending team in Tampa for a rebuilding team in Vancouver don't see it. Plus Tampa isn't moving Sergachev for Gagner and Tanev Nope this trade is bad for Tampa.
