This is pretty good, but the Washington trade would pretty much be contingent on whether or not Carlson will sign a contract extension during the season. If you would try and trade for Carlson with his contract extended, then you would have to give up much more. If he stays as a rental, you may just need to sub out one of the players you already have for a higher-end prospect or another later pick.
