I don't think I've mentioned it on this particular thread yet, so, here it goes: Orpik's a beast. Last year he played almost 18 minutes a night, started most shifts in the defensive zone, and put up a +32 (5th in the NHL), with over 180 hits (32nd in the NHL) and over 130 shots blocked (49th).
He also played a huge role in wearing down the Leafs in the playoffs, and made life difficult for the Penguins.
On any team that didn't have Carlson, Alzner, Niskannen, Orlov, and Shattenkirk, Orpik is a top four defenseman, and a good one at that.
