ain't it kind of dumb to talk about vanek and his draft rating in 2003. if columbus had really wanted him they could have signed for 2m, just like the nucks. if the nucks are rebuilding, why give up first rounder top 5 for duchene.

They would give this deal up to Colorado even if they're rebuilfding because this end result makes them a playoff team. Plus they gain a bunch of draft picks in this upcoming deep 2018 draft
