Description

Carolina is very stacked on defense and are one of the teams interested in Duchene so trading someone like Faulk could get one of the young prospects on the roster. Steal going to San Jose would be their Marleau replacement but it might come at a cost.

Very reasonable. I say you add in a good prospect and this deal would work for Sakic. Sadly that's already asking too much but Sakic wants a lot

I would imagine Sakic is going to hold firm to that first rounder, and I don't think he sends a pick back without it. Remains to be seen if he gets his way, however I think overall it's a solid trade. But does Sakic want something more flashy?
