Description
Rumors have it that the pastrnak camp are threatening to go play in Europe and are using the Leon contract in comparison during pastas contract talk. These are both not good things to hear so this is a worst case scenario of trading pasta away. Probably lob sided it to bostons way just being a bias point of view but would like to hear thoughts on other potential worst case scenario moves

Trouba isn't a need. We don't need a RHD and his problem in WPG has been that he doesn't want to play his off-side. Bruins will get Pastrnak signed. Europe is scare tactics, and he may want Drasaitl's deal but he isn't going to get it....From the Bruins or anyone. They'll settle in the middle or do a bridge deal.

Pastrnak would fill a need for Calgary but Boston would probably have to take Brouwer's contract to make it work, for which Calgary would also likely add another piece. Sam Bennett might be the main piece going back as CGY is having a similar situation with him. So something along the lines of Bennett (top-6/9 2Way-C with high ceiling), one of CGY's defensive prospects (Andersson, Kylington or Fox), Brouwer and a 1st or 2nd rounder for Pastrnak and a low pick. CGY could also include Michael Stone but I don't think Boston would have a lot of interest in him.

That sounds like a brutal deal for Boston. It starts with Tkachuk if anything. Sam Bennett, thus far, is a failed prospect. I have zero interest in him being a main piece coming back. The fact Boston is taking on a bad contract in Brouwer? No thanks. This offer would do nothing for the Bruins.

Can't think of any team that offer him near the money that Draisaitl, so a trade to these teams seem pointless. Europe really? He might get 2m, even if a bridge deal from Boston is more lucrative

Exactly. He will make more money here than he would over there. It's all scare tactics.
