carolina is pretty high on hanifan.. i doubt they ship him AND a first for an underachieving (as of recent) center. two second rounders or a second and third rounder would be closer to what would make the deal go through.. although sakic only wants a first so this wouldn't work

Carolina is up for sale

Weird moves happen when the owner is under pressure, eg: Nordiques, Thrashers. But if the league is part of the process, like with the Coyotes, there won't be any sudden moves

Who knows. Thankfully camp starts next weekend, and Sep 21 + 23 the NHL opens pre-season in Shanghai, then Beijing.
