Description

This makes cap tight. I kept and buried Kuhnhackl and Ruhwedel out of training camp to be used for trade and if they get called up and must be sent down the team wouldnt be too hurt losing them on waivers.
I'm not sure what Zaripov wants salary wise but for a 36 year old with no other options i doubt he gets any more than 2 mill the first you in the NHL. The EDM trade helps both teams giving PIT the center depth and it lets EDM open 4 mill for the next few season that the Mcdavid contract kicks in with a first round pick.
I would make the trade around christmas/new years and let either rowney or guentzel play center as a filler then mcClement play 4C and ride the press box as a depth man that can still PK if the team is hurting on special team.
